This Privacy Policy explains what information ComfoWork collects when you use our ergonomic assessment service, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed ComfoWork to work with the minimum data needed to give you useful guidance.

What data we collect

  • Workspace photos. Images you upload of your desk, chair, monitor, and surroundings so our AI can assess your setup.
  • Assessment answers. Your responses about measurements, discomfort, work habits, symptoms, and budget.
  • Account data. Your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and basic settings needed to run your account.

How we use your data

We use your information to generate your ergonomic score, produce personalized recommendations, match products to your setup and budget, and track your progress over time. We also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the accuracy of our assessments.

Whether data is shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate ComfoWork (such as secure hosting and analytics), and only to the extent needed to provide the service. When you click a product recommendation, an affiliate partner may receive standard referral information — this never includes your photos or health responses.

Photo & data deletion

You control your data. You can delete individual workspace photos or your entire account at any time from your profile settings. When you delete a photo, it is removed from active storage promptly and purged from backups on a rolling basis. Deleting your account removes your personal data except where we are required to retain limited records by law.

Data security

Your workspace data is private and encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel who need it to operate the service.

These Terms of Service govern your use of ComfoWork. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

User responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information during your assessment and to use the guidance responsibly. The quality of your recommendations depends on the accuracy of the details you share.

Account rules

  • You must provide a valid email and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • One account per person; do not share accounts or impersonate others.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse ComfoWork — including uploading content you don't have rights to, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Subscriptions & payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date; you can cancel anytime and retain access through the end of the current period.

Product recommendation limitations

Product suggestions are informational and based on the details you provide. ComfoWork does not manufacture or sell the products recommended, and availability, pricing, and specifications are controlled by third-party retailers and may change.

No guarantee of results

ComfoWork provides ergonomic guidance to help improve your setup, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, comfort levels, or health results. Individual results vary.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ComfoWork is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from products you choose to purchase. The service is provided "as is."

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

We want to be transparent about how ComfoWork is supported. This disclosure explains our use of affiliate links in product recommendations.

Some links are affiliate links

When we recommend ergonomic products, some of the links we provide are affiliate links to third-party retailers.

ComfoWork may earn a commission

If you buy a product through one of these links, ComfoWork may earn a small commission. This helps us keep building and improving the service.

No extra cost to you

You never pay more because of an affiliate link. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.

How we choose recommendations

Commissions do not determine what we recommend. Our suggestions are based on:

  • Ergonomic fit for your body and setup
  • The symptoms and discomfort you report
  • Your stated budget
  • Your current workspace setup

Compare before you buy

We encourage you to compare products, read reviews, and confirm current pricing and specifications with the retailer before making a purchase. The right choice is the one that fits your needs.

ComfoWork provides ergonomic guidance only — it is not medical advice.

Ergonomic guidance only

ComfoWork offers general ergonomic guidance to help you improve your home-office setup. Our assessments, scores, and recommendations are informational tools, not medical services.

Not a substitute for professional care

ComfoWork does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read here.

When to consult a healthcare professional

If you experience pain, injury, numbness, tingling, or any severe or persistent symptoms, stop and consult a qualified healthcare professional before continuing.

Recommendations are educational and general

Our guidance is educational and general in nature. It may not account for your specific medical history or conditions, and individual needs vary.

Stop anything that increases pain

Stop any change that increases pain or discomfort. Ergonomic adjustments should feel better over time — if a change makes things worse, discontinue it and seek professional guidance.
